ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A woman was arrested Sunday night by deputies in Ross County after a fight and a stabbing
Deputies were called to 1280 Harris Station Road near Nipgen at around 10:30 p.m. after a man called 9-1-1 saying that his significant other had stabbed him, hit him in the face, and was arguing.
Deputies and EMS were called to the scene, where the man was treated and taken to Adena Regional Medical Center.
The man later told dispatchers that he was choking the woman when she grabbed the knife and stabbed him in an attempt to defend herself, but this was never relayed to deputies.
The woman was charged felonious assault.
