SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Agents of with the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force, with the assistance of the New Boston Police Department, arrested a woman on trafficking drugs.
It happened during a traffic stop in New Boston over the weekend. During the stop, agents observed multiple criminal indicators and obtained consent to search the vehicle. The search resulted in the discovery of approximately 236g of Methamphetamine, digital scales, $991 in cash, and drug paraphernalia, with an estimated street value of $11,800, deputies said.
Agents were later granted consent to search Kimberly Wesley’s residence, where they found a small amount of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Wesley was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Drugs-Schedule I or II, and Trafficking in Drugs-Schedule I or II, both felonies of the 1st degree. Additional charges will be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration.
