PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — Breaking news out of Pickaway County, where deputies have responded to a possible shooting in the Ashville area. The incident reportedly occurred in the 9000 block of route 752 just before 11 a.m.
According to dispatchers, a 911 caller reported that a lawn care company was working at the property when a man, hidden in the woods, wearing a blue sweatshirt and cream-colored hat fired a shotgun. The suspect then fled the scene.
Deputies are currently en route to search for the armed suspect.
The motive for the shooting is currently unknown. No injuries have been reported.
