FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — A Grove City resident tragically lost his life in a car accident on Wednesday morning, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol. The victim has been identified as 58-year-old James Henson.

The accident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on Route 207 in Fayette County. OSP reports that Henson was driving a Chevrolet Silverado southbound when the vehicle veered off the left side of the road and collided with several objects, including a tree. The car overturned, and Henson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports indicate that there were no other passengers in the vehicle. Authorities say the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Henson, troopers did say, was not wearing his seat belt.
