CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A fundraising reception for mayoral candidate Julie Preston is set to take place tonight, Tuesday, at Rost Coffee in downtown Chillicothe. The event, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m., aims to support Preston’s bid for mayor of the city.
Guests have the option to donate $25 for entry, while hosts are encouraged to donate $50. Patrons willing to contribute more can donate $100, and sponsors can donate $250. All donations will go towards supporting Preston’s campaign.
If elected, Julie Preston would become the second female mayor in Chillicothe’s history and the first Republican female mayor in the city’s history. With her strong track record of leadership and community involvement, Preston aims to bring positive change and growth to the city of Chillicothe. She currently sits on city council as an at-large representative and spent decades as a police officer in the community.
The event promises to be a fun and engaging night for all who attend, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet and support Julie Preston in person.
The election is in November.
