PEEBLES, Ohio – The Chillicothe Police Department’s SWAT team joined forces with the Portsmouth SWAT team to execute a search warrant Wednesday, at two locations in Peebles. The operation took place under undisclosed circumstances, with the Chillicothe team assigned to 1193 Fairview Road.
According to reports, upon entering the residence, the Chillicothe SWAT team detained an individual in the living room, while also discovering an elderly woman lying in bed. Due to her age and health condition, the woman was not handcuffed.
Simultaneously, another group of SWAT team members secured two detached garages at 1193 Fairview Road. The property was handed over to the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force for further investigation.
As of now, authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the nature of the search warrant or the identities of the individuals involved in the raid.
