HENRYETTA, Oklahoma — A small Oklahoma town is reeling from the discovery of seven bodies, including two missing teenagers and a convicted sex offender, found on a rural property near the town of Henryetta.
According to the Associated Press, authorities had been searching for 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer, who were believed to have been traveling with Jesse McFadden, a convicted sex offender. While the state medical examiner has not officially confirmed the identities of the victims, Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice told the Associated Press that they believe the missing teens and McFadden are among the bodies found.
The shocking discovery has left the community in mourning, with Henryetta Public Schools offering counseling services for students affected by the tragedy.
The investigation into the seven deaths is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released any information on motives.
