WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — A woman speeding in Washington Court House led to the discovery of dangerous drugs.

It happened during the day on Sunday.

 According to the police department, officers were patrolling in the area of Eyman Park when they spotted a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit.

Reports state that during the traffic stop, one of the occupants was wanted on felony charges. She was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail. The woman’s name was not released at the time by the department. 

Upon a search of the vehicle, around 22 grams of crystal meth and 3 grams of the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl were discovered inside. The woman was also charged with felony drug trafficking. 

A court date for arraignment was not immediately released.
