As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, Ryan played a crucial role in securing over $1 billion in funding to transform Northeast Ohio’s economic and cultural landscape. Notably, he was the primary sponsor for the CHIPS Act, a $280 billion initiative that paved the way for Intel to establish two semiconductor plants in Ohio.
