ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office along with first responders were dispatched to the 9000 block of Dry Run Road in Kingston on a reported shooting.
It happened just before noon today.
According to preliminary reports, the incident may have been self-inflicted. The Guardian could not independently confirm these claims. The investigation, officials say, is still in its preliminary stages.
Medics on the scene stated that the person was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
A medical helicopter has been requested to transport the individual to a Columbus area trauma center.
