PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — An active manhunt is underway for a suspect who fled from a high-speed chase.
According to initial reports, deputies were engaged in a pursuit with two suspects along route 32 in Pike County. The chase took a dangerous turn when the driver decided to flee down the wrong side of the busy highway.
The vehicle eventually stopped and one person was taken into custody after being tasered. A second suspect is hiding in the area of Carter’s Run Road.
Residents are advised to avoid the area and report any suspicious activity.
