PIKETON, Ohio — Atomic Credit Union announced on Tuesday the appointment of long-time employee Branden McGhee to the newly created position of Senior VP of Branch Operations.

Branden, a Jackson High School graduate and holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University, started his career at Atomic at the age of 25. Before joining Atomic Credit Union, he served as a Store Manager at Sonic Drive-In and an Assistant Manager at 84 Lumber.

He embarked on his journey with Atomic 19 years ago as a part-time teller and has since then climbed the ranks, holding positions such as Member Service Representative/Loan Officer, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, Area Manager, and most recently, Regional Manager.

“Throughout my tenure at Atomic, the best part of my job has been assisting our members in realizing their financial dreams. Whether that be achieving financial independence, buying their first home, or even getting a new car they never thought was possible,” Branden commented on his promotion. He added, “I am very excited and grateful for this next chapter in my life, and to continue to serve our members’ financial needs.”
