PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Highway Patrol, in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, is set to conduct an OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired) checkpoint this evening along Lancaster Pike in Circleville.

These checkpoints, which aim to reduce the presence of impaired drivers on local roads, are funded through federal grants. As per legal requirements, the timing and location of the checkpoint must be publicly disclosed.

The checkpoint is scheduled to commence at 8 p.m. and will continue until 10 p.m. The Ohio Highway Patrol urges motorists to comply with any instructions given by law enforcement officials during the checkpoint operation.
