MOUNT STERLING, Ohio — Pickaway County Visitors Bureau is set to bring the community together with a summer day of fun at Deer Creek State Park Beach on Sunday, July 9th, from 5-8 pm. The event promises to provide a family-friendly atmosphere featuring music, food, and various activities suitable for all ages, including the opportunity to explore a brand-new playground.

The event will kick off with an interactive reptile demonstration hosted by ODNR Naturalist Mandy Wolski from 5-6 pm. Following this, Acoustic Horizon will entertain guests with beach-inspired music from 6 pm onwards. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or beach blankets to settle in and enjoy the melodies.
Visitors won’t be left hungry, as the event will be catering to diverse culinary preferences. Food trucks from Shega Grill, Guelaguetza Street Food, and Manden Ice Cream will be on-site, providing a range of choices to please everyone in your group.
To elevate the experience, attendees have the option to stay overnight at the Deer Creek State Park Lodge, conveniently located across the lake from the beach. For reservations, contact the lodge at 740-869-2020.
