PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A manhunt was underway Monday night after a carjacking of a teenager near Circleville.
It happened at around 9:45 p.m. along route 62. Southern Ohio Online News was the first to report the story.
A 16-year-old told law enforcement that she was carjacked at gunpoint and that her friend was still in the car. The carjacker took off in the vehicle headed north.
Law enforcement launched an immediate manhunt for the vehicle, the suspect, and the alleged kidnapped victim as the car sped away.
