JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — A semi truck carrying cars caught fire Wednesday morning.

It happened along route 35 at the Jackson and Ross County line.

Firefighters said that something in the engine of the semi caught fire, which spread to a car the trailer was hauling.

The highway was restricted as crews worked to put out the flames. No serious injuries were reported.
