Ross Co. announces community flu vaccine popups

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — As flu season approaches, the Ross County Health District is taking proactive steps to ensure the health and safety of its residents. They have organized a series of community flu vaccine clinics to be held throughout the county in the coming weeks.

Flu, an infectious respiratory illness, affects thousands every year. According to recent stats, flu-related complications result in hospitalizations and, in severe cases, can even lead to death. It’s especially dangerous for high-risk groups, such as the elderly, children, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic health conditions.
