ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A newly-purchased car crashed Monday evening in Ross County.

It happened in the 6000 block of Mount Tabor Road at around 10 p.m.

The driver of the car and her passenger were not seriously injured when the blue coupe failed to negotiate a curve and hitting a tree, sporting a temporary license plate.

The woman’s son told news media at the scene that she swerved to miss deer.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
