CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — An alleged drunk driver caused a crash early Thursday when his Kia Soul overturned after colliding with a parked car in the 100 block of East 5th Street around 12:30 a.m.
The impact resulted in minor cosmetic damage to the stationary vehicle in Chillicothe, while the Kia ended up on its side. Nearby residents, alerted by the noise, quickly intervened, pulling the male driver from the debris.
The man, yet to be identified, suffered minor facial injuries. According to law enforcement at the scene, he failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
