ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County woman is okay after she was burglarized and attacked by her ex-boyfriend.
Deputies said they responded to a house on Legend Drive where a man had broken into the house of his ex-girlfriend. Once inside, the man started yelling at her and began to attack her, tossing her cellphone out of her hands.
The woman was able to grab her phone and dial 9-1-1.
When deputies got to the scene the man had fled. He was later found driving down the road. He was pulled over, where law enforcement believed he was under the influence of alcohol.
The man was arrested for burglary, menacing by stalking, and disrupting public services.
