FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County is gearing up for its much-anticipated 33rd Annual Hike for Hospice on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Community Church on 525 Glenn Ave.

This community tradition, standing strong for 33 years, brings folks together regardless of weather to stroll in remembrance of loved ones. The event, not just a hike but a cherished gathering, boasts activities for all ages, including a car show, food truck alley, live DJ, photo booth, emergency vehicles, and a touching bagpipe sendoff.

The action kicks off with registration at 9 a.m., followed by the walk at 10 a.m. It’s $14 for individual walkers (adult/youth) and $6 for a Memory Walk Sign – a meaningful way to honor a loved one. These signs will be displayed at Grace Community Church during the 2024 Hike for Hospice.

If you want to snag an event T-shirt, make sure to register by April 1. While walk-in registrations are welcome on the day of the event, T-shirts won’t be guaranteed post-April 1.

Beyond the camaraderie, the 2024 Hike for Hospice presents sponsorship opportunities, with all net proceeds directly supporting Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County patient care and services.
