CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Utilities Director, Brad Long, announced an upcoming sewer line project, affecting Marietta Road.
According to a statement, crews will start work on Monday, February 12, at 6:30 AM and continue until completed on Thursday, February 15. at 6:00 PM.
Once work begins, Long said, additional closures may be necessary and will be announced as they occur.
Motorists should expect lane closures and traffic disruptions in the following areas.
1.) Marietta Road westbound lanes to Bridge Street, with the garden and truck entrance to Lowes closed.
2.) Marietta Road stub-end adjacent to Applebee’s back entrance on the north side of the restaurant, which will be closed.
The southeast egress to Bridge Street will remain open.
Motorists are asked to use an alternate route and/or entrance/exit to local businesses.
