PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Pike County residents are advised of upcoming construction projects that will affect local highways next week. All outlined work is contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
County Road 50 Slide Repair
A landslide repair project on County Road 50 (Watson Road) between Mutton Run Road and Hay Hollow Road has commenced as of February 12. Daily work hours are scheduled from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Due to the construction, the road will be closed for the duration of the project. Northbound traffic will be rerouted via State Route 335 to Higby Road to Old State Route 35. Southbound traffic will be redirected via Old State Route 35 to Higby Road to State Route 335.
The anticipated completion date for this project is Summer 2024.
