POMEROY, Ohio — On February 18th, 2024, Meigs County Deputies were kept busy responding to a range of incidents throughout the day. Here’s a breakdown of the calls they attended to:
02:20 AM – Deputies investigated a complaint of underage drinking on SR 124 in Racine. Upon arrival, they spoke with all individuals involved and determined there was no underage consumption.
11:41 AM – A report for theft was taken on Sanford Davis Rd in Langsville.
04:34 PM – Deputies responded to a complaint of threats on Bald Knob-Stiversville Rd. After speaking with all parties involved, it was revealed to be a verbal dispute over an eviction with no threats or violence. All parties agreed to separate for the night.
08:31 PM – A traffic stop was conducted on Union Ave near Osborne St in Pomeroy. The driver, Jeremy Ash, was issued a citation for speeding.
