CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Calling all history buffs and curious minds alike! The Ross County Heritage Center Museums are officially open for the 2024 season.
Located at 45 West Fifth Street in Chillicothe, the museums will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, from March 2nd through December 30th, 2024. Please note that they will be closed on major holidays.
General admission is $4 for adults, while seniors and students aged 13 to 21 can explore for just $2. Children under 12 get in free! If you’re interested in scheduling a group tour, you can call (740) 772-1936 for more information.
McKell Library Also Open
In addition to the museums, the Ross County Historical Society’s McKell Library is also open to the public. Located at 39 West Fifth Street, the library is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. year-round, with the exception of major holidays. Admission to the library is $2.00.
