CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A Kingston man was killed Thursday evening in Circleville.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at approximately 5:36 PM, at the intersection of US Route 23 and Tarlton Road.
44-year-old Abigail M. Dirmeyer, Circleville, was traveling northbound on US Route 23, nearing Tarlton Road. Simultaneously, 65-year-old Brenda L. Fisher from Kingston, was situated at the southbound light on US Route 23. As Dirmeyer drove into the intersection, deputies said that Fischer failed to yield, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Dirmeyer was transported to Ohio Health Berger Hospital by Clearcreek Township EMS, while Brenda Fisher was airlifted by Med-Flight to Grant Medical Center. David A. Fisher, a 73-year-old passenger in the Fisher vehicle, from Kingston, was taken to Ohio Health Berger Hospital by Circleville EMS. Unfortunately, David Fisher succumbed to his injuries sustained in the crash and was pronounced deceased.
