CHILLICOTHE, OHIO – Jason Lytle, a Chillicothe man indicted in July of last year, is now being held in jail on a $1 million bond.
Lytle was charged with attempted murder last summer after he allegedly used his vehicle to pin a man against the exterior wall of a local business. The incident led to his initial arrest and subsequent indictment.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, The Guardian reported that Lytle was once again taken into custody. This time, he faces new charges of domestic violence, resisting arrest, and robbery.
A bond modification hearing was held recently to determine whether Lytle, who was already out on bond for the attempted murder charge, could be released from custody again. However, Ross County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael Ater ordered Lytle to remain in custody. To secure his release, Lytle would need to provide $1 million in cash or surety.
Lytle is scheduled to return to court in May to face the attempted murder charge.
