CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A jury has found Chris Agin guilty of intimidation of a victim in a criminal case and violating a protection order, bringing relief to a New Holland family that has lived in fear due to his actions.
Agin, who has a previous criminal record, was charged last year with breaking into the home of a New Holland woman located in the 27000 block of Route 207. The incident prompted a response from deputies and troopers, who found Agin hiding in a crawl space inside the home after he had forced his way in.
Prior to the break-in, Agin had been harassing the family for some time. Authorities say he was also sendding threatening messages and letters that contributed to an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.
The court has not yet scheduled a date for Agin’s sentencing.
