MARION, Ohio — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced today that Marion resident Paul Rowlen, 38, faces serious legal repercussions following his indictment on 15 felony charges related to alleged fraudulent real estate practices.

Rowlen, the owner of RDM Management LLC., stands accused of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, forgery, identity fraud, and theft. These charges span a range of felony classifications, with specific counts addressing crimes committed against older adult victims, some of whom were deceased.

According to the indictment filed in Marion County Common Pleas Court, Rowlen allegedly forged deeds and misappropriated the identities of multiple victims to unlawfully acquire residential properties. Subsequently, he purportedly renovated these properties for resale, actions that have triggered a legal response from state authorities.

The investigation leading to the indictment was conducted by the Marion Police Department.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the case against Rowlen highlights ongoing efforts to combat fraudulent practices in real estate transactions, particularly those targeting older adults. The charges he faces carry significant penalties, reflecting the severity of the allegations and the potential impact on affected individuals and communities.
