CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio – The Ohio Army National Guard’s 135th Military Police Company, based in Chagrin Falls, has embarked on its third overseas deployment to support Operation Spartan Shield in the Middle East. Sixty members of the unit bid farewell to their families and community during a heartfelt send-off ceremony held last Saturday at Kenston High School.
Operation Spartan Shield, overseen by U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), is a critical mission aimed at deterring aggression and ensuring stability across the region. It involves collaboration among various branches of the U.S. military to uphold peace and security.
The deployment underscores the dedication and readiness of the 135th Military Police Company, whose previous tours of duty have demonstrated their commitment to national service.
