CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — New information has surfaced regarding the arrest of a Columbus murder suspect in Chillicothe.
On June 14, 2024, Columbus police responded to what they described as an “ambush attack” at an apartment complex. According to court records, Caleb Johnson, 26, D’Angelo Gravely, 28, and Danielle Hardy, 35, all from Franklin County, coordinated an attack at the Amberly Square Apartments.

The trio allegedly walked from Noe-Bixby Road to Refugee Road before opening fire on a group of people, striking Jahaan Harris, 25, in the back. Harris later succumbed to his injuries at Mount Carmel East in Columbus.

Caleb Johnson, the last of the trio to be apprehended, was located during a raid at a home on Adams Avenue on Chillicothe’s east side. Columbus police, along with Chillicothe SWAT and U.S. Marshals, took Johnson into custody. He remains in the Ross County Jail pending extradition back to Columbus, where he faces multiple counts of felonious assault and aggravated murder with premeditation.
