New indictments handed down from Scioto Co. grand jury

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — The Scioto County Grand Jury, convened for its May term on June 28, 2024, returned 18 public indictments, announced Shane A. Tieman, Scioto County Prosecutor.

Among those indicted are:

• Devon Varney, 28, of McDermot, Ohio, charged with Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
• Michael Rife, 18, also of McDermot, indicted for Attempted Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor or Impaired Person.
• Hunter Mueller, 21, from Portsmouth, Ohio, facing charges including Receiving Stolen Property, Telecommunications Fraud, and Misuse of Credit Cards.
• Tine Fields, 58, of New Boston, Ohio, indicted for Failure to Comply with Police Orders.
• Ryan Williams, 46, of McDermot, Ohio, charged with multiple offenses including Trafficking and Possession of Fentanyl-Related Compounds.
• Tayvon Mayhone, 23, of Portsmouth, Ohio, indicted on charges of Burglary and Grand Theft involving firearms.
• Jacob Hunt, 30, also of Portsmouth, facing charges of Telecommunications Fraud and Misuse of Credit Cards.
• Rachel Kerns/Miler, 53, from Portsmouth, indicted for Escape.
• Treyvon Truet, 21, of Lucasville, Ohio, charged with Burglary, Breaking and Entering, Theft, and Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
• Hope Fyfe, 29, of Pedro, Ohio, indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs and related offenses.
• Amy Adkins, 48, of West Portsmouth, facing charges including Receiving Stolen Property and Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
• Brigete Burge, 45, of Portsmouth, charged with Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound.
• Thomas Adkins, 34, of Portsmouth, indicted for Possession of Cocaine.
• Adam Davis, 30, of Portsmouth, facing charges of Felonious Assault and Domestic Violence.
• James Michael-Evan, from Lucasville, Ohio, charged with Possession of Cocaine.
• Felisha Meade, also from Lucasville, indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
• Melissa Messer, 46, of Portsmouth, facing charges including Possession of Cocaine, Falsification, and related drug offenses.
• Austin Burke, 25, of Lucasville, Ohio, charged with Felonious Assault, Possession of a Deadly Weapon While Under Detention, Intimidation, and Extortion.
