CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office has intensified efforts to apprehend 46-year-old Timothy Miller, who remains at large after fleeing from deputies earlier today. Miller, wanted for felonious assault, domestic violence, and aggravated menacing, escaped into the woods near 3188 Harris Station Road.
The Sheriff’s Office released Miller’s name and photo to the public, urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact their office at 740-773-1185. Miller was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
Early this afternoon, authorities requested an aviation unit from the Ohio Highway Patrol to assist with search and monitoring efforts.
At 2:06 PM, EMS was placed on standby in the Nipgen area, ready to respond to any incidents. By 2:13 PM, a plane from the Ohio Highway Patrol had arrived to aid in the search.
At 2:44 PM, deputies prepared to execute a search warrant at a residence connected to the investigation.
As the search progressed, all units began preparations to leave the scene at 3:35 PM, though the search for Miller continues.
