WAVERLY, Ohio – The Waverly Fire Department’s Water Rescue Team has been dispatched to Lake White following a report of a watercraft collision on the water.
According to a statement from the Fire Department, the Water Rescue Team is actively operating at the scene. The public is advised to avoid the area, both on shore and in the water
The incident was reported at 10:27 PM on July 28, 2024. Further details regarding the condition of those involved and the circumstances leading to the incident are not yet available.

UPDATE: The Pike County Sheriff’s Office was originally called to a two-watercraft collision on Lake White near Rittenour Road. Multiple individuals are reportedly involved. A search is currently underway for one individual who reportedly fled the scene.
