BATAVIA, Illinois — ALDI Inc., in cooperation with Wiers Farm, Inc. and R.S. Hanline Co Inc., has announced a recall of Freshire Farms jalapenos, green peppers, and green beans due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recall affects products sold in select stores across Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The recall, which was officially announced by ALDI on July 22, 2024, includes the following products:
- Jalapenos: 8 oz. bag, UPC 4099100087680
- Green Peppers: 16 oz. (3-pack) bag, UPC 4099100087598
- Green Beans: 16 oz. bag, UPC 4099100087826
Customers who have purchased these items are advised to discard them immediately or return them to their local ALDI store for a full refund.
