JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — A two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Route 35 near the rest area in Jackson County on Thursday, August 8th.
A westbound Chevrolet Express van collided with a westbound Dodge Durango when the Durango failed to yield while changing lanes. Both vehicles crossed the median and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the van was transported to Holzer Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver of the Durango sustained minor injuries but did not require transport. Other occupants of the Durango were not injured.
Route 35 was reduced to one lane for approximately one hour while crews cleared the scene.
