ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities are investigating a residential fire on Route 50 as a case of arson, following a blaze that occurred early Friday morning.

Firefighters from multiple departments responded to the structure fire at 11383 Route 50 in Bourneville. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office has classified the fire as suspicious and is actively investigating its cause. A $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the suspected arson.

The investigation remains ongoing.
