CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Authorities are investigating a theft that occurred at a Taco Bell located at 1005 E Main St. in Union. The incident was reported on September 16, 2024.
According to a responding officer, the restaurant’s manager reported that a male suspect stole $100. The manager stated that the man requested change for a $100 bill, but when she handed him the money, he left without giving her the bill.
The manager provided a written statement and emailed a still image of the suspect captured in the lobby. The suspect is described as an older white male with shaved gray hair, a gray goatee, wearing green shorts, an ACDC shirt, and having tattoos on both arms.
A departmental email has been sent out to identify the suspect. The officer patrolled the area, including nearby Chillicothe, but was unable to locate the individual.
The investigation is ongoing.
