PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Community Action Committee (CAC) of Pike County’s Workforce & Business Development Program is looking for volunteers to help with their Free Tax Assistance Program through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) initiative. The program, which will be offered again in 2025, provides free tax preparation services to low-income families, and volunteers are needed to make it a success.
Volunteering for this program is a meaningful way to give back to the community, offering help to those in need. No prior experience is necessary, as free training will be provided to all volunteers. Additionally, volunteers are protected from liability for any negligence that may occur during their duties.
If you’re interested in becoming a tax volunteer and making a real difference, contact Erica Jones at 740-289-2371 ext. 7038 or email her at [email protected] for more information or to sign up.
