ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has provided its latest road construction update for the area, detailing ongoing and upcoming projects that could affect local traffic.
Ross County Resurfacing Projects:
- S.R. 207: Resurfacing work continues on State Route 207, with the bridge crossing the Scioto River reduced to one lane until October 25. Motorists should expect delays, particularly during morning and afternoon commutes. The estimated completion date is October 21, 2024.
- S.R. 28: As of October 7, resurfacing is underway on S.R. 28 between U.S. 50 and Harper Station Road. One lane will remain open throughout the project, which is expected to wrap up by November 1, 2024.
- S.R. 772: Work will begin on October 28 for resurfacing S.R. 772 between the Pike County Line and Blain Highway. One lane will remain open during the project, with an estimated completion date of November 22, 2024.
U.S. 23 Resurfacing:
- Resurfacing on U.S. 23 between George Hollow Road and Cox Road is set to begin on October 18. One lane will remain open during the project, which is expected to be completed by Winter 2024.
