WCH, Ohio — The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday evening, October 20, 2024, at approximately 9:28 p.m. at the Flagway (Cruz Thru) convenience store on State Route 41.
According to authorities, a suspect wearing dark clothing, including a Carhartt hooded sweatshirt and a black face covering, entered the store and displayed a handgun, demanding cash and cigarettes. Based on a description provided by the store clerk, the suspect is believed to be female. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and several cartons of cigarettes. Deputies, with the assistance of officers from the Washington Court House Police Department, responded to the scene shortly after the robbery.
