CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Mayor Luke Feeney, along with the City of Chillicothe Engineering Department, has announced that the annual maintenance of the floodgate on Main Street is set for Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
During this maintenance period, East Main Street at the floodgate will remain open to traffic; however, motorists should expect shifted lanes as work is conducted. To ensure safety and minimize disruptions, drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes for the day.
City officials urge all motorists to exercise caution, reduce speed, and be vigilant for construction vehicles and workers in the area. Further updates will be provided as needed.
