WAVERLY, Ohio – America’s Best Restaurants (ABR), a national media company that highlights standout local eateries, will bring its ABR Roadshow to Cardo’s Pizza in Waverly on November 22, 2024. The visit is part of ABR’s mission to showcase independent restaurants across the country. It will feature some of Cardo’s popular dishes and a look at the pizzeria’s community role. The episode will be released on social media following the filming.
During the Roadshow’s visit, ABR will film segments featuring the restaurant’s signature items and an interview with owners Sheri and Davis Remy about the history and community impact of Cardo’s. Since taking over Cardo’s in 2016, the Remys have relocated the restaurant to a larger space and introduced new amenities, including expanded seating, party rooms, an arcade, and an axe-throwing area.
America’s Best Restaurants selects establishments for its Roadshow based on criteria such as customer feedback, community involvement, and unique menu items. The ABR Roadshow has traveled to a variety of cities across the country, aiming to highlight the stories of independently owned restaurants that contribute to their local communities.
