CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – In a move to address longstanding parking challenges, the city of Chillicothe has released new photos of additional parking spaces being built along Riverside Street. These new additions are part of a continued effort to support downtown growth and improve accessibility for residents and visitors.
For years, parking has been a significant concern for many in the community. While residents have applauded Chillicothe’s downtown revitalization projects, they have often noted that the lack of adequate parking has hindered further growth and convenience. Until now, public parking options have been limited to two main locations: one on Water Street and another on South Paint Street.
City officials hope the new Riverside Street parking spaces will alleviate some of the congestion and make downtown Chillicothe more accessible for everyone. As the city continues its efforts to enhance the downtown experience, additional parking solutions may also be explored in the future to support the area’s growth and appeal.
