WAVERLY, Ohio — Firefighters in Waverly quickly extinguished a small fire at a commercial building on Thanksgiving night.
The Waverly Fire Department reported that crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Walnut Street around 9 p.m. following reports of a fire inside the building.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that an interior light fixture had caught fire and fallen to the floor. Crews were able to extinguish the smoldering debris without further incident.
The building was cleared, and no injuries were reported.
