WAVERLY, Ohio — A popular pizzeria is bidding farewell. Lloyd’s Pizza, in Waverly, known for its homemade pies announced via social media on Friday that it will suspend business operations indefinitely. The pizzeria’s last day of service will be today, November 30.
In the post, the owners expressed their regret over the decision, writing, “It is with regret that we announce our decision to suspend business operations indefinitely, with November 30 serving as our last day. The business, in its entirety, including equipment, has been made available for purchase. Parties interested in acquiring the business may express their interest via this messaging platform.”
The announcement has already sparked an outpouring of reactions from loyal customers
The owners further clarified that they will not be selling any equipment separately from the sale of the business. They encouraged potential buyers to reach out with questions, adding, “Those thinking of purchasing, just know that the asking price is less than you would spend on starting a pizza shop from the ground up.”
While the specific reasons behind the closure remain private, the owners hinted at the difficulty of their decision, stating, “We honestly hate to even do this.”
