SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol seized over $146,000 worth of methamphetamine and fentanyl during a traffic stop in Scioto County on Wednesday, November 27.

The stop occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on State Route 823 when troopers pulled over a rented 2023 GMC Yukon with Washington state plates for a moving violation. During the interaction, troopers noticed what appeared to be cocaine residue on the passenger seat. After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, officers discovered 3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 70 grams of fentanyl, with a total estimated street value of $146,662.

The driver, identified as Trevon K. Parker, 26, of Detroit, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, a first-degree felony. If convicted, Parker could face up to 11 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

Parker was taken to the Scioto County Jail, and the investigation is ongoing.
