CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — According to the First Capital PRIDE Coalition, Trans*formers, a local transgender support group, is inviting members of the community to join their monthly meetings. The group is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for transgender individuals to connect, share experiences, and participate in meaningful community outreach.
Trans*formers meets on the last Friday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Technology and Business Development Center at Ohio University-Chillicothe, located at 22 Pohlman Road. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, December 27th.
The coalition says the group is open to anyone seeking support, friendship, or an opportunity to foster greater understanding and acceptance within the community. Trans*formers is described as a space where every voice is heard and every member is valued.
