CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – The Pickaway County Community Action Organization’s (PICCA) Toys for Tots program received a significant boost this holiday season thanks to generous donations from DuPont and Circleville First Baptist Church.

DuPont Supports Toys for Tots

DuPont’s CARE Team played a key role in supporting the Toys for Tots program by delivering overflowing boxes of donated gifts to PICCA on Monday, December 16.

“This year the boxes placed at our gates were overflowing,” said Paula Halasz, senior lab technician for DuPont ICS in Circleville. “We are proud of our employees and contractors who have stepped up to donate these gifts to the children of Pickaway County.”

The donation reflects a continued community partnership and highlights DuPont’s commitment to supporting local families during the holiday season.

“Toys for Tots is truly a community effort,” said PICCA Executive Director Becky Hammond. “We cannot thank DuPont enough for its support.”

First Baptist Church Provides Winter Coats

In another act of generosity, Circleville First Baptist Church donated nearly 100 winter coats to PICCA this week. These coats are now available at the Toys for Tots distribution center located at PICCA’s Ohio Street headquarters.

“It is important for us to be a giving people,” said church Pastor Billy Barbo. “We are never more like God than when we are giving, and giving generously. The gift of these coats will be a reminder to the recipients that people care. It is always exciting to partner with others to make a difference in someone’s life.”

PICCA Executive Director Becky Hammond praised the church for its contribution during the cold winter months.

“We are grateful to Pastor Barbo and First Baptist Church for this donation that will help so many in need,” Hammond said. “This exemplifies what the spirit of the holidays is all about.”
