ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A routine evening turned into a life-threatening ordeal for an elderly Ross County man Thursday when he became trapped beneath his own vehicle.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Moss Hollow Road around 5:09 p.m. after receiving a call about a man stuck under a car. When they arrived, they found the man pinned, the front left tire crushing his ankle and leaving him unable to move.
According to the report, deputies assessed the situation, realizing the only way to free the man was to push the vehicle off of him. Working together, they successfully moved the car freeing the man.
The man was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
At this time, authorities have not released details on his current condition.
